Beaver Skills

An important skill that all potential Techers must have is the ability to recognize both the California and the Massachusetts Beaver on sight, as well as being able to defeat them in hand-to-paw combat. Here are some important distinguishing characteristics:

The California Beaver

• Tanned from the California sun
• Gets perfect scores on the DATs (Dam Aptitude Tests)
• Tail doubles as a surfboard
• Armed with the complete works of Richard Feynman and Stephen Hawking
• Can divide by zero

The Massachusetts Beaver

• Has never seen the sunlight
• Consistently fails the DATs 
• Skinnier due to the lack of food in the frozen Cambridge wasteland 
• Armed with a protractor or a broken pencil
• Cannot divide by zero
